I don't think changing manager will make a difference, however it is hard to imagine a scenario where CH somehow turns things around. However, to avoid being a hypocrit I'm still gonna vote no-one out.

I appreciate we do need to make signings urgently and going into the season so underprepared wasn't good at all but I'm also not sure why people think anything would massively improve under Hughton with more recruitment; he's still gonna play his brand of football, last season after January he still had Christie, Ribeiro, Garner, Krovinovic, Knockaert and Murray to choose from as well as both McKenna and Worrall being fit and we weren't much better than we are now. Sometimes the writing is just on the wall and I believe it is in this case, it's one thing to have the Twitterati on your back but once you've got the supporters booing you and singing "sacked in the morning" I don't think there's any coming back from that.

But perhaps it felt that way because of the tactics? There's always been very little fluidity throughout Hughton's time here and a disjointedness. I'm not gonna sit here and say it's all his fault because it isn't but I am disappointed, I've expected much better from a manager of his pedigree.
