And we sold Blackett who could also cover CB

Blackett was a donkey to be honest. I thought we'd have been better keeping Ioannou around if we were going to hang on to one.

It's a fair point, but......couldn't we have held on until later in the window to sell him? Or loaning out Ioannou to be honest. All a bit silly!

Can only assume they thought eyed have had it sorted, and for whatever reason haven't.  Definitely the main error transfer-wise this summer, because Bong is an absolute nightmare.

...and yet we're trying to get players off teams who won't let them go until they get replacements.

Ironic.

I'm going to admit, I thought slow playing the market was a good idea and that we could get away with it.

I guess the poorly timed covid outbreak combined with Worrall and Soh injuries in week 1, Tutu injury week 3 and Bong/Gabriel suspended has made it just too difficult to cope with. Has made it too difficult to tread water till the end of August.

I think after those injuries/suspensions in week 1 it was a pretty poor call to not push harder to get a left back in. Even if we did still sign Buchanan later on.

I'll keep saying it on here. Its a disastrous decision to go cold turkey on this new approach. It feels like a decision made by someone who is a complete novice.

Why hasnt Dane run his numbers on todays game and predicted what will happen with nothing at both full back positions,  no ball player in midfield and head n kick it Figs in defense? You dont need a super computer to calculate it would end in a defeat.

Also, a relegation at a club like Barnsley is no big deal, they go down sort it and eventually come up again. If Nottingham Forest go down its an unmitigated disaster that sets the club back 10 years and costs 200 million quid.

Yes it will but when you are run the way we are you get what you deserve.

It’s not just the manager... he is awful. But the whole club from top to bottom are to blame. Couldn’t give 2 hoots about the off field stuff that isn’t going to save us from relegation.

Flying the flag for common sense, Paplane.

No transition of power.  Entirely predictable 12 points pished away without GOOD players in the well documented positions.

Did Mr. V and Dane actually talk?  Rookie CEO makes a Rookie Error?

Or Did Mr. V leave Dane a note, 'We're broke.  Good luck.'

In his defense, the Garner one has dragged on longer than they clearly anticipated which hasn't helped. The injuries/suspensions when we're so short are unlucky too.
