SA.

I wish my glasses were as rose tinted about the current manager.

I wish Hughton would have more than 1 (fit) outfield signing over both Summers.

There isn't anything rose tinted about that.  Mere fact.

And it's a loan at that.  Not a permanent signing.

You want to condemn a man for starting a season with both hands tied. He's being hung out to dry.

But our treatment of managers over the last several years has been shocking in many ways.

Forest are where they deserve to be. Rock bottom. And that's not on Hughton.

That's down to Forest getting their act together off the field. Recruitment, again, comes back to haunt Forest.

It will still require competitive recruitment.

And patience. :)

he certainly got something of a performance, namely effort, commitment and 60% possession, i think there is a case for saying we have played much much worse and won, the possession thing is a bit of an anvil around the neck, win/60% possession combo's are rare.
I'm tempted to watch the game again and work out where this went wrong but looking at chances created compared to possession i'm concluding we spent alot of time 'probing' but trying to get 3 men through on goal against 6 defenders type thing.
I think Hughton got an ok performance, could of won, but the rigid tactics possibly end up nullifying us more than the opposition, in the end, and i think our lads work very very hard, get tired, hence late cards, goals and injuries

I believe we have until lunch time today to register players for tomorrow.

Not looking good is it

Football insider says it should be announced  before midday, if not then after the game tomorrow, but it's imminent, I also heard a different name was at the game, but it maybe has nothing to do with him joining, but u know how we work, one in before one out

Those 'rigid' tactics saved us from a graver beating.

Imagine what he could do if he had a LB, CM and a Striker?

Dane?  DANE?  (Are you there, Dane?  Come in no.7...)

...

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a mutual consent thing. Ie. Hughton falling on his sword. I wouldn't blame him.
