No I was being sarcastic. WHY is it the managers fault?
We couldnt break down a well organised defence
We had a makeshift defence
Our strikers IMO are both shite.

Why is any of that the managers fault? What on earth do you think any other manager would have done?
Let me guess, you take Yates off and bring Carvalho on? Would that really have changed the result?
Bringing carv on earlier so he can make an impact absolutely... or do you stick with 2 of the exact same non creative players in the middle of the park. Why we have 2 dcm at home anyway is beyond me.

A makeshift defence?... they had a makeshift team.
Again though! Your point about not being able to break down a defence... this is down to the manager. He is supposed to train the players and set the tactics so they can break down a defence.

How many times do we have to watch our team not break down defences. It’s not the first time and it won’t be the last. If you play boring uninspired football you struggle to break down any defence... as it is proving time and time again.

We lost because of two basic defensive errors and the lack of a decent striker, not because of CH.

i paid me 599 pence to listen to a munths full of this

we sounded good, great atmosphere, some lively stuff up front but compared to bormuff it was really just huff and puff, seemed they just cut straight through for there goals, clinical

i'd be happy for this to be a development building season, we got some good players

but come on man, 30 minutes against 10 men, what happened to sticking the CB up front and putting on 3 fresh players, it was the 83rd minute before Hughton took off a defensive player for an attacking player, that is to late, that's sending the goalie up desperation time

seems all the players did well generally, but yes i  ain't the game and don't think i could watch it now

I just dont think losing today was down to CH. Also think ripping it up and sacking the manager now ends the season before it starts and would jeopardise any potential incomings before the end of the month.

I don’t want to argue mate so will leave it at that... I’ve made my point and respect your opinions. We are all annoyed and frustrated here.

Enjoy your evening fella

Midfield pairing of Colback and Yates doesn't work when we have the ball. We have to go wide, opposition know what's going to happen so can defend it.

Didn’t we say the same thing when Colback and Watson played together?

Whilst I agree with most of this. It was frustrating today and I doubt any of the options CH had would have done much more -  aside from Carvalho, who carried his confidence with him from Wednesday.

But you are wasting your time with certain folk who post gleefully on here after a defeat, but are very quiet when we win.

With 2 wins in 16, something will no doubt change one way or another soon. Personally I am hoping its our results and not the manager that changes, but that's clearly not the case for all of our "supporters". You know who you are.

Well said, Zicorice.

Quick question. We all want the same thing, progression and ultimately Premier league football. Can anybody say truthfully that that is possible under CH??

Nothing gleeful about any of my posts at the moment and I certainly am not quiet when we win. However, I have said the same since day 1 with CH. I see nothing to change my mind.

Of course I would love it if we started winning and was proven wrong. At the end of the day we all want forest to win. But.. I can’t put on rose tinted specs after a year of watching this crap.

Sorry for being thick but why is it the managers fault the defence switched off? , to be fair Colback and Yates didnt cover themselves in glory for the goals either.
Figs doesnt look sharp enough, Gabriel looked like little boy lost, nowhere near good enough on that showing and we had a debutant playing out of position at LB. Up front we had a 31 year old with a gravity problem and a 34 year old who looks totally spent.
But yes that is all obviously the manager fault.

It’s the managers fault that it keeps happening. The same mistakes. The same lack of concentration. It’s his job to stop it happening as often as it does.

An no... with 10 me we persisted with 2 dcm and continued to do very little. It was terrible boring predictable. But then it is every week.

The manager sets the team up with the same negative tactics every week.

The manager chooses who to bring on and when ie our most creative player with 4 minutes to go rather than when we should of been pushing as soon as the red card happened.

There has been no progress made in the style of play, the quality of performance or results in 12 months. But it’s ok... give him till Christmas when we could be in a real relegation battle.

Don’t forget that Bournemouth had so many players missing today. How would their first 11 have got on... we would have been buried by half time.

Yeah.  It's another loss.  Both games could (a would a shoulda...) been draws.

Losses hurt like a kick in the nuts.

Bournemouth are ten years ahead of Forest with or without players.  And their quality player showed what Forest are missing up front.

Bournemouth have a young striker and Forest don't.  Simples.

That's Recruitment's job.  And they've had 3 months to get one.  Or two years if you want to be pedantic.  (and I do.)

...and we have two Chs missing.  No LB.  No 'new' striker.  No ball playing CM.  This is all recruitments job.  Hard to hang injuries and recruitment on Hughton.  Apparently he isn't in charge of recruitment.  So then it must be recruitment's problem?

Oh.  And that's another goal lost via 'that left side of goal' which Samba should have done better with.  That's 3 in two games for him.

You give two soft goals away to the opposition even if you have a striker, you're not going to win games in the Championship.  It's uphill.

Two outfield players to start the season after losing 14 of the previous ones isn't enough to start a season with.  It hangs (yet another) manager out to dry.

Two narrow results. Some promising stuff, Yates went close and Grabban had one off side. And maybe Samba could have saved one of the goals against.

Why were they in the ground today? Have they watched the last 12 months under him
