Taylor and Johnson looked a right handful in the first half. Taylor hasnt played in any forest side that provides as much threat as that going forward.

And colback firet half was immense, winning challenges and tackling.

Missed two pre season games, Worrall injured in training. Grabban out sick. Bong, Taylor starting despite clearly not being wanted.

But yeah sure blame the manager why not. 

We played decent first half, better team. Second half played worse, faded badly, clearly tired. Draw fair result, shame about the mistake at the end.

Also we made a sub first half due to injury so only had two. He made one at a normal time and saved one for injury, which was required.

A typical Chris Hughton team performance, go in front, then sit back for rest of the game. Opposition make good subs whilst CH doesn’t realise the game is drifting away and does nothing, they score, we still remain on the back foot as Coventry continue to go forward, take a striker off to bring a defensive midfielder and end up losing. Reap what you sow keeping a manager with a 28% win rate and the same old story! And lack of signings means relying on players like Bong and Colback and no forwards on the bench.

The game was drifting away.  But he did put on PZ.  And Forest almost scored from his corner.

Forest ran out of steam because the squad is thin.  

But it's hard for any team to lose two CHs.

It's a slow market.  Forest could do with signings.  

Coventry got a lucky ricochet for the 1st goal.  2nd goal.  Our own fault.  Clumsy tackle from Yates gave Coventry the impetus.  Dangerous area.

Coventry barely had a shot on goal until 84 mins.  Then when they got the goal the momentum really swung their way.

Forest just ran out of ideas and energy.  Signings needed.  'Soon.'

Look we weren't bad but we definitely weren't good either. The best team won they controlled the game for larger spells in both Half's and push on final 20 mins with a view to win when we just hoping not to lose. It happens and it is only the first game of the season so let's see how we do over next few games.

It's hard to be rational, sane or balanced when you're team loses.

But props to Wassy04 fairly sums things up.

Frustrating.  But that's football.

Forest looked fine with the set up 1st half.  Brennan and Mighten causing all sorts of problems.

Not many teams can lose their star CH and main Striker.  You can only pick what's fit and what's your strongest team available.

I think that's a familiar feeling over the last two seasons.

But it's going to take some quality signings to get out of that mentality of conceding late in games.

I'm a Yates fan, but his tackle was rash and put the result at risk.

I also thought we were a bit less dynamic when Soh went off. We lost a bit of composure at the back.

And Mighten better get ysed to the treatmemt he receiived today because the minute he gets away from the defender he gets hacked down.
