I believe that is the Forest Womans team

Don't think so mate. I think it will be Forest under 23's.

Could the U23s play the Women’s team? Who would start favourites?

The young lads might get a bit distracted.

Still trying to find out, they were waiting to see if restictions would be lifted for their training camp.

Southampton have a pre-season camp in Austria pencilled in prior to the friendlies vs Cardiff & Swansea, though, whether the squad will be able to fulfil such plans will depend on the latest government guidelines #saintsfc [@TheAthleticUK]

Forest did plan to go to Austria for a training camp, where they were scheduled to play what was described as a “training game”. They then scaled back their plans because of COVID-19 and looked at going to Scotland as an alternative… but even that fell foul of the situation.

So they will now complete their work at the Nigel Doughty Academy. There are no concerns within the club that it will impact on their preparations, with a decent mix of friendly fixtures arranged, including games against Premier League sides Aston Villa and Burnley.

A few first-team players could be involved in the game at Alfreton on Saturday now, although the suggestion is that it will only be a few. The match at Port Vale on Saturday, July 17, will be a full first-team fixture, however.

Does anybody else think our Carabao cup clash with Bradford City will be a near sell out crowd?
