Sounds good. I didn't know who Dane Murphy was but having read about him it sounds like he's just what we need.

This sounds extremely promising but before we get too excited can anyone confirm if the source of this info is credible? The only place I have seen it is the pile of clickbait bile that is the Nottingham Post.

Had a look on the Barnsley forum to see what they thought of him, there was a number of posts typical of how we are sadly viewed by many football supporters and a reply from someone who had some recent insight. Thought it was interesting and encouraging.

I don't know where the rumour came from but if there is any truth in it then I think it demonstrates that EM is evolving into a very good owner. Recently he's secured a cat 1 academy, submitted updated plans for the stadium, got Chris Brass onboard working with Hughton and Brazil and now he could be bringing in a new CEO.

Yes Gari I knew I had forgot something.

Some will say that EM is only correcting his own mistakes but I don't agree with that. Both Vrentzos and Dourekas have done great work for EM in the past and they have been very successful as a trio so why wouldn't he show faith in them and give them a chance in England at Forest.

Okay so it didn't work out but you can see why he did it in the first place and now to his credit he's changing it. I for one cannot criticise that.

I don’t think he will be officially announced, just like Chris Brass wasn’t. 

As for Dane Murphy I am quite positive this will happen (unless last minute goalposts are moved) I expect to hear some feedback early this week. 

I suspect this won’t be be the back of Vrentzos though, he will be based in Athens and overseeing Forest Operations. 

Let’s see, as they need to start cracking on the transfers.
