That's an interesting comparison Sniff!
It's a good job there wasnt any social media about in Cloughies day. He wouldve walked with no hesitation if he had received even half of the descending voices Hughton is getting!!

I find it very interesting too Tricky. Many though have conveniently chosen to over look it.

Cloughie has already won the League and competed in Europe.
He did not last long at Leeds though, with no social media.

Yes but we are comparing Hughton's and Cloughie's results. Cloughie's sacking at Leeds was nothing to do with results.

Manchester United think very highly of the Reds manager Chris Hughton and the progress James Garner has made under him. Indeed, Hughton was one of the major factors in United choosing Forest as the youngster’s destination for the second half of the season.
United academy performance manager Les Parry said in February: “James has done well getting to Forest. The manager, Chris Hughton, was really keen on him.
“Chris Hughton was one of the attractions for us, to be quite honest with you, with us selecting Forest.
“I think all of our coaches, and myself, have great respect for Chris. He has a great reputation for the way he treats players, which is important for us.
“On top of that, with him really fancying James as a player, and the fact he's going to treat him well and educate him well.

Lets see if they will let him back then, or if the lad wants to come back.
I would hope he has relationships like that with other clubs, that could be a major positive.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR :)

Sounds promising. Hopefully they will send a few more our way this season.

I'm not so keen re bringing in more prem youngsters. Garner has been good, but we dont need half the side being young loanees. Just Garner will be fine.

Not half a side but Garner and one other would be good perhaps a striker like Simms at Everton or a winger like Nelson from Arsenal. The manager will know best.
