How come Garner is in that squad. He's only 19, shouldn't he be classed as a youngster like Mbe Soh and Mighten or is he classed as a squad player because he is only on loan? Genuine question.
Pretty sure that rule doesn't apply to loans so has to be included

Also how come we’ve included the 3rd keeper? At the expense of another of the 3 mentioned?

It may be in the rules that you have to register 3 keepers. I know you have to have 3 keepers registered for World Cup squads for example. That’s a different scenario, but it could be the case.

What is the point of having to submit a 25 man squad if you can add to it whenever you want? For example we have submitted a 24 man squad and we will add either Arter Dawson or Bachirou whenever we feel like it.

To soften it's impact I assume. I'm sure the rules will get stricter next season.

Looking at the squad currently contracted for next season.
In descending age order the top 8 are
Grabban 33
Bong 33
Colback 31
Arter 31
Taylor 31
Bachirou 31
Da Costa 30
Jenkinson 29
Pretty obvious that these so called experienced players that some said we needed last season have contributed very little. Wouldnt miss a single one of those were they to leave, getting rid easier said than done though.

Not so much as needed more all we could get! Also bit unfair on Grabban, he has contributed in the past.
It's not like our young signings have been contributing either. Soh, Ribeiro, Figs (is he young?!)
More just that they were bad signings, Taylor and Arter were the big disappointments. Colback won't be on a big contract at all due to his previous injury record, was a gamble that didn't pay off that one. Shame, I really liked him the first time we had him

All we could get?? Rubbish
Grabban has served us well in the past and has had an unfair rap, I dont think he should be captain but I am sure he shows leadership in the dressing room and commands a lot of respect. Time to move on though.
You sign a few youngsters and they dont work out, it happens and at least we would have tried to invest in the future. Ribeiro and Figs and MBE Soh if they did want to leave would all find suitors. I would like all 3 of those to stay actually.
The whole idea of signing those older players should have been that they were proven, their high wages justified by the fact they were the real deal. We got a load of has beens and never beens that we are now stuck with.

My point was that just because players are younger doesn't mean the transfers will go any better. Ribeiro likely to get released, Figs is a backup now and Soh has yet to show anything. If the rumoured fee is anywhere near true then currently we have not got a great deal.
All the players listed we paid nothing for, even if they are being paid more than the younger players (which in some cases they won't be) the lack of fees negates that gain.
I'm not disagreeing we need more younger players but I think it's unfair to make it seem as if that's the only reason they didn't work out. Also ignoring the fact that younger players cost more and are more difficult to sign as there's more competition. Even if EM is willing to keep paying for the excessive losses, we still have to work within FFP. Clearly the balance is skewed too much at the minute but the main problem was surely the actual players we signed were rubbish!

Too many sitting on the bench or not even in the squad. Arter and Taylor have been a disappointment though, the rest to be expected. Except Grabban, bad season but who hasn't?
