Other than the 2 CB(!) no one was willing to look after the ball or drive forward. Garner was poor- hope his confidence isn’t shot. Blackett looked like an amateur- even the Brum commentator were taking the mick. The gaps on the pitch are so big and the transitions to attack are as if the players don’t know what todo!

Im just going to write this game off as one of those games (as we got a point). We were very poor i think as a direct result of being outperformed by an anti football side who are really motivated and right in the middle a new manager bounce. And speaking of bounce, the pitch negated any form of a passing game that will have benefited us. Its the worse pitch ive seen for years. Garner may have never played on a poor pitch in his career. It definitely affected his game. The players I hope will be notivated by the escape and put in a performance on Saturday. If that doesnt happen then it will be the third game in a row then we need to be questioning whats going on.

I think the problem is a lot more than needing 3 new strikers.

Our best left back is on his way and if anyone thinks bong or Blackett are the answer then there is a place in a institution for you. So a new LB is a must.

It is very unlikely Garner will be back. Yates and Cafu are not good enough to be the pairing but can do a job individually.
Lolley.... can he stay fit? Can he get back to his best? We need another option.
Krov is not our player and, although he has shown flashes of being a good player, he has not been consistent. Possibly Johnson is the answer here.
3 strikers I absolutely agree with. All 3 current ones out the problem is this is going to be very expensive and I’m not sure we have the money to do this let alone everything else that needs doing.

I also think Ameobi needs at least another year with us. I think we have missed his hold up play and forward runs more than anyone would care to admit.

Since he has been injured we have hardly attacked sides (first 20 mins v Huddersfield aside). We have no proper outlet down the wings with him missing from the side. Knockaert, i think just wants to go back to Fulham as he has shown in the last 2 matches that he just doesnt give a f**k.

Yep. Ribs on his way for sure, Bing has disappeared off the face of the earth so he's probably been told to do one too. So if Ioannou is gone forever amazingly we might be in the market for another left back!
