Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 21's

The biggest threat to our academy is Leicester plonking their brand spanking new facility right on the border.

Cat 1 is paramount as Leicester and Derby will hoover up the local talent otherwise.

Staff wise, be it coaches and sport science, I think we are stronger than Leicester and Derby.

They have better facilities though.

I thought that was the case.  Especially under Hart were we had a golden age of Academy talent coming through.

So we really need that Cat 1 status (and that new stand built...) to take us to the next level as a club.

Thank you for the insight, Reds73.

Olli Hammond has signed his first professional contract at the club. He's been with the Academy since he was 8 years old.

Well done him.  He's got his reward.  I'm sure we'll be following his progress with interest.

We will have to win our league first won't we? Currently Sheff Utd are leading it.

Fingers crossed he does not become this years cash cow. You pay good money for a lower league talent like that, and for once hes ours
