If you read the thread back nobody has said that he's going to walk.

IMO Marinakis and the club have to back Hughton and stick with him.
I know the football is not at all good, however having spoke to a few Brighton fans, they did say this is exactly what will happen. It will be dire, he will keep you up, and then next season he will get his players in, and get them organised, and we will score a lot more goals and play far better football. Both Brighton and Newcastle scored a lot of goals when he got the promoted. We just have to see what happens if we allow a manger a bit of time. If we just press reset again, next season will almost certainly be a write off. I’m not saying a Hughton will get us up, but I do think we need to see this one out for once.

I think it's fair to say now that Chris has turned us around and done a good job. We were absolutely dire when he arrived.

The Sabri bubble burst from the moment the pivotal injury to Sow happened. Our top six was built on what fitness he had last season. We've gone from being spanked, game over after the 1st goal, and conceding goals like a sieve, lacking belief and rooted to the bottom of the table... ...to a competitive outfit that will compete for every ball and beat the likes of anti-football Cardiff (managed by Mick no less) on their own patch. And out possession footballing Brentford (On their own patch.). Defying the gravity of disastrous start to the season to slowly turn things around based on pragmatic principles that this Championship league demands. What Chris Hughton has done could only have been bettered by Christ Hughton. Forest were a complete mess. Following a train wreck Summer. SA.

The football is horrific and I don’t blame the manager he is doing a fantastic job with what he has. We show glimpses of a better team but all too often we rely on defending well. We are hard to score against and that is why we will survive this season. We are also in a position where there are worse teams than us. CH has done a brilliant job and I look forward to what he may give us next season.

Hopefully a good next few weeks and maybe he can unless the shackles a bit to see what we're capable of. Going to have a completely different team next year again I suspect
