Totally agree Widdow and of course it is the old marketing ploy that a fair number of those who try for free carry on subscribing in the future.
We wont do it though, we miss out on far too many opportunities like that.

It would be a crying shame if the new Forest TV didn't use the Radio Nottingham commentary IMO.

Colin Fray gives a very good knowledgeable commentary which sadly other clubs fail to do. Also, have you listened to the guy who does the highlights commentary on the Forest website? He sounds about as interesting as a boiled egg sandwich without butter or salt!!!

The ifollow stream shows replays, multi camera views and even latest scores these days. Its improved a lot since it started. My bet is that the actual streaming of the game wont be much different to what it is now, it'll just be badged Forest Player and have a few adverts from local suppliers like maybe Pyes.

I know the Cardiff game is being streamed, but will Forest TV be able to stream all of our away matches, like we used to under ifollow?

ifollow was part of the EFL, so there wasn't any issues with other teams, but if we are going down a loan operator move, will things still stand as they currently do?

Bristol, sheep have their own products and you can still watch all the games so cant see why we will be any different.

If I were running this new service I'd be all out trying to head hunt Colin Fray and Steve Hodge. When you listen to other teams commentators you realise how good those guys are at the job.

Unfortunately the Cardiff game will still be £10, and the feed will come from iFollow

Surely it'll use radio nottm commentary still, it'll be a step down if not.

Aside from the annoying adverts (which this will also have) I'm not sure I've had the same experience as others this season with ifollow. Picture quality has been good, replays, radio commentary mostly and rarely buffers.

I do live alone and have good quality Internet so maybe thats partly it. I've not convinced that Forest will be able to do a better job though! Probably just use the exact same technology, I hope the price doesn't go up...

Its got to be better hasn't it? I hope....

it could be incredibly good, they could have a full match day programme, youth team news, highlights, interviews with anybody and everybody, Marinakis could have his own spot maybe a monthly update, all the adverts could be predominatly Forest and Nottingham related, player interviews, maybe other interactive messaging, though when the fans return to the stadiums the match would be lost, maybe reduce the replay time to a few hours after the game so if you are in the UK and can't get to the game you just avoid the result for a couple or 3 hours

The actual Ifollow match coverage is good. There's multiple cameras, replays, decent stats, goal updates. It's just the technology aspect that is poor: picture quality, cutting in and out of adverts at half time etc. So if the club can maintain the same game feed and add to the rest then it'll be a half decent offering.
