Something clearly isn't right with him for whatever reason this season - and I don't think it is down to confidence. If you consider the misses earlier in the season and then the inexplicable near post "duck" I think he is barely going through the motions. He made a couple of goal line clearances but was basically standing in his assigned position at the time for those...

It will be interesting to see what happens with him in the summer but I wouldn't be sorry to see him go now (and would not have even considered that before this season) along with a couple of others that I don't trust to be giving their all in the Garibaldi....

Eaxctly Simon. I agree with every word you've written. He's been excellent for us but seems to have lost his mojo. He looks like a player wanting an out. Oh, and I've always thought his finishing is really poor when he has the ball at his feet and he has time to think. IMO that's why he's so poor at penalties.

I think he does want out & I think he knows long term we want him out now, & he's had injury issues & form issues on top of that, & also the clock of time has continued to tick down, he's 73 now, so it's a bit of a perfect storm really, that's turned a decent championship level striker into someone who offer so little.

On a sunny shore with Sabri, perhaps?

His head seems elsewhere.  His bumbled chance last night summed up his mindset for me.  Last season was his swan song in a Forest shirt.

I think he's one of a few Forest shirt who aren't here for the right reasons.

If more than 2 of those start in our first game in August we’ll be in for another very long season.

Proof - if it were needed - that CH & the recruitment team have an almighty task on their hands this Summer.

Mckenna, Christie, Cafu, Ameobi, Garner. Could see all of those being around next season still in the first team

Can you honestly say that Garner will want to come back here.

I don't see Garner being here next season, Christie is up in the air & I don't see Cafu or Ameobi starting anywhere close to 40 matches, thy'll be squad not first XI (providing we resign Ameobi, obviously)

I doubt we'll see Garner here next season, Grabban, Yuri and a good few others.

I do see increased competition for the GK, fullback, CH, CM, Wing and Striker being brought in.  Players with a bit more pace, power (and yes, speed of thought).

There was a chasm between Norwich and ourselves.

We did miss Worrall, Sow and Knocker last night.  I'd like to see Worrall and Sow back in the side.  ASAP.
