Nottingham Forest - Luton Town

No suprise the sheep lost tonight too. The derby games take a lot out of the players I always think.

Sat/Tues schedule catching up.

I think Hodge makes an excellent point about 3x 30+ strikers.  Body takes a hammering.  They were 'sharp' in their time but now?

Losing Krov' and it was like the supply lines were cut.

I think the 1 point return from Derby and Luton should temper any delusions I have about Forest having a late charge to the Play Offs.

Cardiff are battering their way to the top 6 and Barnsley have far more energy and goals than we have in us.  If any two teams are going to 'do' BOurney and Reading?  It's them.

We might be able to nose bleed our way to the top ten.

Positives:
First 60 minutes tempo and passing.
2 wide men were rampant first half.
36 yes 36 crosses into box
8 crosses completed.
Lolley looked like Lolley
Luton were too sh1t to really punish us in the last 25 minutes.

Negatives:
We didn't score...we should've...but didn't.
Result.
Response to going behind was terrible.
Subs made little impact-maybe people will stop moaning about the lack of changes CH makes-unless you can invent a new imaginary angle like Green Man (see above.)
Krovinivic didn't create anything again. I like him, but not his day after a bright first half.
Samba got so bored he wanted shooting practice so his distribution not as it can be to say the least.

Zic', I enjoy your honest and balanced accounts.

On point(s).

That's two should have 'won' games.  5 points dropped.

The frustration was the teasing and rampant but ultimately toothless 1st half.

Swansea.  Derby.  Luton.  That's 1 point from 9 over 3 teams that we battered 'at times.'

Have we only scored 20 goals all season?

I would just be happy with being outside bottom three - this is a stark reminder that there needs to be another summer of rebuilding because once you remove the loan players from our side it is worryingly weak.

Murray is probably best used as an impact sub but considering the options I totally understand why Hughton is starting with him.

Hopefully we can take some points off the top sides - a win and a couple of draws from next five games would be a great return and would keep us at arms length from those in the bottom 3. Anything more would be great - anything less and things will get uncomfortable again

If we carry on the way we did tonight, we will be lucky to 'nose bleed' our way out of the bottom 10! Forget the top 10, we aint gonna get there on tonights showing

Yep.  With you on that, Plymouth.

What I would give for the Grabban of last season - or the Lolley of two seasons ago.

Isn't Taylor our top scorer with four on the league. I think og is our second top scorer.

Players have their 'moment' in  time with clubs.  I feel that Grabban and Lolley are now past their mercurial best.

It's time to 'shake the bag' this Summer.

But I agree.  To have Grabs and Lolley from two seasons ago.

As frustrating as it is.  We are only a couple of wins...a back to back win from making up some ground to the top of the middle 8.

I'd be tempted to bring back the Talismanic Sow (when fit) and energetic Yates to add some steel and combative energy to our CM and put Krov' ahead of them.  And rest Garner and Cafu for the next game.

We have the CMs to do it.

I said a while back we needed a good points tally before this run of games, fortunately we have established a bit of a gap.

I think playing Garner on Saturday will see him at his very best as he will have a point to prove to Watford. Hopefully the same will apply to Murray
