Nottingham Forest - Luton Town - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 28-02-2021 To be played at the City Ground. On Tuesday 2nd March 2021. Kick off is at 19:45. COYR! RE: Nottingham Forest - Luton Town - Strawberry Avenger - 28-02-2021 A win would move Forest up a few more places. Begin our assault on the top 8 of the mid-table. (We're currently bottom of the middle 8.) SA. RE: Nottingham Forest - Luton Town - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 28-02-2021 Just one change for me, Ameobi in for Freeman. Samba Christie Figs Worrall Ribeiro Garner Cafu Krovinovic Knockaert Murray Ameobi RE: Nottingham Forest - Luton Town - Strawberry Avenger - 28-02-2021 (28-02-2021, 03:04 PM)Sniffer Dog Wrote: Just one change for me, Ameobi in for Freeman. Personally would prefer Lolley over Ameobi, but apart from that can’t see any changes RE: Nottingham Forest - Luton Town - IamJollyLolly - 01-03-2021 Reds73, I would also like to see myself start but I would be more then happy to play big Sami, maybe also Yates in for Cafu? RE: Nottingham Forest - Luton Town - Alf Garnett - 01-03-2021 Cafu has done nothing to suggest that he should be left out of the side. RE: Nottingham Forest - Luton Town - IamJollyLolly - 01-03-2021 Alf, he is caught to often in procession, his game is more suited to a slower pace of football not the championship. I believe that CH will bring in better for next season to play in his current role in the team, reasonable back-up player only in my humble opinion after all I do train with him most days! You may train with him. But on matchday he's alot better than you. Lolley. Now a 'reasonable' back up player. In my humble opinion. Hughton may well bring in better for next season. Starting with the fullbacks. And moving on to the left wing. And then the strikers. Areas that are higher priority than that of a well stocked Central Midfield. SA. Proved his worth since moving to this position with the shining performance at Swansea and settling into that position. And if he doesn't do it, we have Yates, Sow and Colback. SA. RE: Nottingham Forest - Luton Town - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 01-03-2021 I agree with Alf. Cafu has been very impressive and I think he retains the ball very well, he's also very good in tight situations and doesn't give away cheap fouls and pick up cheap bookings like some of our other midfielders. He deserves his place in the team in my opinion. First half at Derby I thought he was superb. He deserves his place in the team in my opinion. First half at Derby I thought he was superb. I'd go along with that. He's got strong chemistry with Garner. (Our previous two, Yates and Sow were, whilst formidable, more defensively powerhouse but less progressive in helping hold and knit the ball to the front line.). Nice to have two CMs that can put their foot on the ball and 'play the game.' (With the caveat that they have had the benefit of a genuine link man in Krov' glue the DCM midfield to the attacking line. He's becoming the kind of CM we might have wanted to sign in the Summer. But we got our business done early in Jan' making him a perm'. It's great to have an Olympiakos player come good for us. SA. |
