I have been nothing but impressed by the way in which Aitor has gone about his business since he came to the club.
For me, he has been a breath of fresh air. Granted, results could have been better but over all I am very happy to have him at the helm.

Impressed so far - shored up defence and imediately demostrated who`s boss ( something we have been lacking for years ) if he can deliver in other areas then we should have a good season. Chalk and cheese in terms of performances last year whilst you could argue we scored more under Warburton after the first game against Millwall we walked away wondering how we won that and that pattern remained throughout his tenure. Certainly felt more confident attending games under AK

I like the performance s against Fulham, Burton and QPR as well as that unbeaten run for a while as it showed a taste of things to come under Karanka. Given a thorough preseason and a Summer squad overhaul with genuine quality this year Karanka and Forest will make their statement of intent. SA.

When you look at the position we are in and how many seasons we've had being an average (at best) Championship club I honestly beleive we are very luck to have Aitor. I really hope he makes a success of it and that he's here for years to come.

I'm delighted to have aitor whatever happens in the upcoming season we will be in a hell of a lot better position than when he arrived. He will clear all of the dead would and leave us in a position where we have a good blend of youth and experience with lots of quality amongst that. The owners need serious credit for that too. And if you believe the figures of transfer targets today were in for an exciting summer. Hala karanka

Can't really fault the owners or Karanka so far.
The feel good factor has well and truely returned for me. I haven't felt so positive about the club for years. Can't wait to see how the transfers pan out this summer.

No doubt that Karanka has the full trust of Marinakis and Vrentzos, they will back him with whatever money he needs to get the job done.
It's going to be an exciting season. Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the ride.

I'm not to sure yet. He did not exactly turn performances around much last season. He's got second transfer window now and I'm expecting to be in and around the playoffs. Anything less and I'll be disappointed.
Whether EM will give AK a third & fourth transfer window remains to be seen. Finishing 7-12 he could be okay, lower than that and I'd expect EM to be calling a taxi.

I have started off positively with my initial views on AK but the recent stories coming out about his management of Daryl Murphy concern me.
I just hope his doggedness doesn’t blind his decision making. We’ve been there with Billy. |
