But he’s the best of a very average left back bunch...

Possibly TPL although I would like to see more of Bong and Blackett before I decide that.

Maybe so.

But - as we speak - Ribeiro has the best record and ( despite the red ) warrants his position.

Not sure TPL. I am sure he has the best record of shit crosses into the box and the best record of getting done at the back stick.

Some have had it in for Bong ever since he walked through the door. The blokes done nothing wrong these last couple of games and he deserves to keep his place. Just for the record I think he will.

I agree with Sniff on this one. His debut against Charlton last season, when he was hooked after half an hour seems to be the reason he has been looked upon as ineffective. Yet he was far from the worst on the pitch that night (no-one bothered turning up!) and he was decidedly out of condition having not played many games.

I say give him a run in the side to get back up to speed, if he is not making mistakes and see how he gets on. His crossing is good, much better than Ribs has been lately.

From what I saw, granted it was only a 4.5 games, I thought he was going to be our first choice left back. I doubt we’ll ever see him in a Forest shirt again unfortunately.

Yes.  Spot on.  I though my he was far more robust than Rib and with a decent cross on him.

Must be an attitude thing or a clash with the manager or he thinks he has a divine right to 1st team football after a red card.

Pity.

He needs games mate otherwise he won’t develop into the player he ought to be.

In reality he should be starting 15/20 games this season, anything less is a travesty

He won’t develop with 5/10 minute cameos

We pissed the opportunity away last season by selecting Da Costa, looks like we’re gonna do the same this season

Needs must at the moment though. Its currently not about him. Its about getting 3 points and getting out the shite.

Completely agree.

That’s why I would play him

Worst control I've seen in the last 30 years. Worse than Sonner.

Glad Bong kept his place. Ameobi injured and Grabbs must have picked up a knock or something.

No Grabbs, no Ameobi. Freeman in.

Less confident now.

No Grabban and Ameobi.

Freeman ahead of Lolley though?

Taylor must wonder what he has done wrong to be replaced by a 37 year old who barely looked fit in his sub appearance in the week.
