Nottingham Forest - Barnsley
The point was a decent point.

Some interesting comment, Alf.

Opinions eh Pap.
I thought that the enforced substitution weakened us dramatically.

Have to say I agree, he looked much slower than Sow. Passing was fine but not got the tackling ability of Sow

I thought he tried hard made 2 maybe 3 nice passes to get us going forward, but generally looked out of his depth- could be that he is struggling to get up to speed with being out so long- but on the day, definitely out of his depth.

I should add I desperately wanted him to be good, so probably looking a bit too positively on the basic passes he did, but in that position he was off the pace, won very little on the ground or in the air and his yellow boots made it obvious as he ran into the picture a second or two later than needed.

Yates didn’t play mate

Never said he did. If he had, might have been better might have been worse, pure conjecture. But he wins everything in the air so the above description wouldn't have applied.

Thanks SA.

Just to visualize those comments, here's the form table since Barnsley changed manager........

The form table is something to pay attention to.

As an aside? Forest only beaten once in the last 9 league games?

If we can get 4-6 points from our next two games that be lost once in 11 games and our points/league position looking better.

He was as well!  Our makeshift midfield and he was still very quiet (for a change against us)

looking forward to seeing how the squad looks this eve

I'm not going to grumble over Murray until the end of the season

The thought did cross my mind but I thought it best to let it go to be honest.

I thought the exact same thing, I had originally intended to remind Widdow not to celebrate if he scored too... :D

He was the worst player on the field.

Never quite understood the love in for Mowatt. Just another jobbing CM who looks good sometimes-especially in league 1- and sometimes gets subbed for being sh1t like on Saturday. Chris Burke looked the business against us, so we signed him....

Mowatt- no thanks.
