Nottingham Forest - Barnsley
Interesting headline in Yorkshire Post.

Not: Barnsley grab well earned point.

But: Tykes held to goalless draw.

Shows how far we have fallen.

Ed psych. Important not to lose this one.

Target the next two for max points.

But it's really important we get them.

Yeah Cafu didn't look great in that position, let's hope Sow is not too bad or Yates can come back quickly

Which is odd because DCM was meant to be Cafu’s position and I was hoping he would do well in a deeper role and switch defence to attack. He had Sow alongside him first half to do the dirty work yet seemed totally anonymous. Cafu has really impressed me with his attitude so far so would like to try him there again but he isnt going to get his place back ahead of Krovinovic.

Opinions eh Pap.
I thought that the enforced substitution weakened us dramatically.

He didnt improve us but we didnt lose the game. My point is that he came on and contributed something when the midfield could've caved without Sow.

A lot of so-so teams around us.

A couple of wins would see us mid table.

Derby have shown you can move places with a couple of wins.

A couple woukd seecon on 32 points with Huddersfield.

Oh ffs. CH is taking us backwards. Playing for a point at home to Barnsley is unforgivable. The man sticks to the same tactics week in week out it’s beyond a joke. CH is getting abuse because his performance deserves it.

I read someone saying that there is nothing he can do stood on the side.., it’s his fooking job to get them to play bloody football. But the team are hindered by the tactics. They play the way he sets them up to play. It hasn’t worked for the majority of his tenure but rather than change it he sticks with the same system and the same players. Grabban as captain is a joke.

CH can do one.

And as for EM leaving putting us into administration.. That won’t happen if he sells us. And, as I hear, there are interested parties. But what will happen if we get relegated... and that is exactly where we are heading

Its also the job of the other 23 managers to play football too. Only one team can win. How many new managers will it take before you accept that maybe its not that easy to come in and manage this team?

Also, not going to bother speculating on random interested parties. Of course its complete rubbish, what idiot would want to buy a football club that loses 30m a year BEFORE the pandemic even hit.

Yep.

Sanity prevail.

Today's result will be a decent one if we win the next game.

a point today did nothing for us and benefitted everyone around us, if anything Barnsley was more of a winnable game than Coventry, but yeh 2 teams who are young and full of enthusiasm and Coventry would be more than happy with a point and last time out were very unlucky not to get something from the game

Everybody knows how Chris Hughton will set up, will give a subdued non vocal player the captains armband and will replace like for like on 87 minutes, i think this plays into the hands of the opposition, hope i'm grotesquely wrong, maybe Coventry have a pile up of injuries and there for the taking and they don't look at any of our last 20 games

They also seem to finish games strong, they did today, from a goal down and unlucky not to win it, so hope Samba has his clock running down A game
