Wouldn’t argue with this.
Don't forget Sheffield Wednesday too! At least we haven't failed FFP (recently)

In my opinion the above is wrong. We arent as bad as Derby, Wednesday, Birmingham, Newcastle Sunderand probably loads of clubs in L1 and 2. As far as I am aware we are solvent, we own our ground, our owner may be trigger happy but he is well intentioned and hugely ambitious.
This is what makes it so frustrating, if we had a better strategy on the football side things would be rosy, even better assuming the new stand finally comes off. I have no problem with Vrentzos as CEO and business man, let him make his deals. Modesto is a good chief scout for Europe with loads of contacts, Brazil is the best at what he does, Hughton gets clubs promotion. It should just be so much better.

Its a 250 year lease to the council. I think we are in a much better place than it being owned by some faceless billionaire who could sell it off on a whim.

Land is leased. Buildings are not.

Which means we don't 'own' the ground Pap. Just the buildings on it. We pay Nottingham City Council ground rent for the land.

Only if the club keep up rent payments.
Remember when Nigel Doughty tried to be clever and with-held paying rent and loan repayments to the Council for the Trent End back in 2006? Whilst Jon Collins knew the value of the club and what it means to thousands of Nottingham citizens, trust me, there were contingency plans being worked on to take legal proceedings out against the club at that time due to the fact that it was tax payers money the Council lent to the club and there are many, many more thousands of tax payers the council had to consider as well, and part of the legal proceedings was to look at reclaiming the land the ground is built on. In the end it was left to Councillor John Taylor to negotiate with the club to get them to start their payments again. One of the last things John did before stepping down as a Councillor.

Which ever way you look at it, there will have to be another huge turnaround of players again in the summer.
Many players who tend to make up our team may not be with us next season, due to end of loan or being our of contract, including the likes of...
Riberio
Christie
Ameobi
Freeman
Cafu
Sow
Knockeart
Krovinovic
Dawson
Diallo
As for others in the squad, some will have a year left, and we have to consider offering new deals or selling them in the summer.
Then, of course, the club will sell Academy players like Worrall and Johnson, to help pay for the older players like Grabban, Arter and Taylor along with deadwood players which IMO are the likes of Colback, Guerrero, Blackett, Bong, Jenkinson.
See no long term planning or strategy is killing the club financially, along with bad managerial appointments like Hughton.
