We are frustrated - probably none so much as Marinakis himself. However, we must all pull together to stay up. Then sort it out this summer for once and all...

For what it's worth I think Marinakis needs to get rid of Vrentzos now. Supporters are too up in arms about him on Twitter and have been since Taylor's first bunch of Tweets regarding him, nothing he can do will change that now so I don't see a way back, if he doesn't then supporters will fully turn on Marinakis as well, it's already starting.
I want him to be a success here because I believe he's a good football club owner, he's demonstrated he is with Olympiacos and if we go up for sale again we could end up with another Fawaz quite easily, shockingly easily in fact.

We are in a relegation battle as it is, the things highlighted above are the last things we need right now.

Look at the clusteefuck that is the derby sale. Similar size club in a similar position,, stuck in a rut in the championship. Good owners aren't queuing at the door to buy them, just some well dodgy chamcer. At least Marinakis is a football man, not a venture capitalist.

Same with Karanka what really went on there? Warburton similar. Whatever did go on, all i can conclude is that really decent managers have been ejected and we are left with the same problems, though the noone can come out and say what the problems are or were, too much passion? vision was too clear? Too honest? Too much integrity for NFFC?

I support Sniffer in his personal opinion and stance behind the owner, however like most on here I personally now have doubts that matters within the club are not right. Whatever is not correct from top to bottom need sorting, if this mean new owner, CEO, Manager and players then this need to be addressed. I have stated many times on this forum the club needs to start with an ethos and playing style that is relevant to all age groups through to 1st team, future managers/coaches, recruitment and players need to fit the clubs criteria once set. This is the starting point be it with the existing owners or potential new management team. We just keep going round in circles, rinse and repeat, about time we as supporters have the balls to say enough is enough, be prepared to accept the inevitable early lows but in the knowledge that we have a future path to be a successful club.

Correct Pap but when I said that people should be careful what they wish for a few weeks ago I got slaughtered for it. You'll see...

Let’s just take a look at a sprinkling of the players who’s transfers have been concluded - and hence rubber stamped by Vrentzos / Modesto et al ( forgive me if this is not a comprehensive list ):
Bouchalakis Kapino Fuentes Dejagah Soudani Hefele Pele Wague Milosevic Tachtsidis Goncalves Dias Carvalho Janko Bonatini Jacob Ansarifad Jenkinson DaCosta Bong Bostock Mir Semedo Diakhaby Arter Bachirou Blackett Guerrero Diallo Despite the absolute car crash that has been our transfer dealings since EM took over - & the consequent poor performance on the pitch - my beef has always been the overall administration of the club. DT - in one of his tweets yesterday - mentioned the ‘miracle gates’ as promised. What happened to them? ( perhaps almost an irrelevance in the scheme of things - but don’t over promise ) Moreover - the treatment of the clubs ( non football staff ) employees. It was hoped that this would improve post Fawaz ( how could it not! ) - it appears not to have changed. This is why we need someone of the stature of Daniel Taylor to fight our cause. |
