You are correct, they are tinpot clubs but they are moving in the right direction. Just because we had a few wins against Milwall and Wednesday doesnt mean we are moving in the right direction too.

I'd say one of our biggest problems has been trying to copy the Swansea model.

Derby and ourselves are perhaps the two worst run clubs in our league at the moment, must be an East Mids thing :D

That's down to the decisions being made, not the model. The whole problem is we haven't got the people to make that model work. Theirs do like you say, adopt a sensible approach, ours are way more scattergun. We need a model that lessens the influence of these people. Swansea's model increases it.

That's what I was saying the other day mate. We have no model. We have no philosophy currently. So will continue to do as we are just blowing money left right and centre losing our best young talent in the process with no structure of how to take the club forward.
