What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy
Last week it was Brentford, now it's Swansea, who will it be next? All these super clubs who are so much better than us.

And Wolves were better because the way they went around buying the league was better than us.

You are correct, they are tinpot clubs but they are moving in the right direction. Just because we had a few wins against Milwall and Wednesday doesnt mean we are moving in the right direction too.

I'd say one of our biggest problems has been trying to copy the Swansea model.

During the 2017/18 season Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins and the club's American owners were criticised by Swansea fans and pundits for poor transfer windows and the firing of managers. ] Alan Shearer blamed the Swansea board for moving away from the style of play found under previous managers Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Martínez.

Really? I dont see them buying 30 plus players window after window. They have always been a fairly youthful side in the main.

That's down to the decisions being made, not the model.

The whole problem is we haven't got the people to make that model work. Theirs do like you say, adopt a sensible approach, ours are way more scattergun.

We need a model that lessens the influence of these people. Swansea's model increases it.

That's what I was saying the other day mate. We have no model. We have no philosophy currently. So will continue to do as we are just blowing money left right and centre losing our best young talent in the process with no structure of how to take the club forward.
