if Swansea put out a changed, weaker, experimental team or whatever
i think we have to go for the win, £90,000 for beating Swansea and then £60k assuming a loss v Man City but probably another £100k of TV money?
So beating Swansea would bring in £250,000 plus give everyone a boost and a bit of continued excitement, these games could also be a good shop window
Lose to Swansea and get £30k so results in a loss of £220,000 maybe significantly more
Why do that?

We’re on same page PSS.
I was working on £90k ( definitive ) + £200k ( estimated )

Chris Hughton interview from yesterday below, pre Swansea, injury updates etc, there is collectively 30 minutes of interview with multiple interviewers including Colin Fray
F@ck what the losers get, it's our year....we're going all the way to Wembley and all the cash that comes with it.
IF we lose tomorrow, the booty doesn't even cover a weeks wages for our top earning player!!! That's mad.

Yep, those figures I posted above were prize money. TV money is on top, I couldn't be arsed to check what that is. We would also normally get just less than half the gate receipts if there were any.
Us at home game against Man City, being a potential under-dog game with the big team away, might be chosen for TV maybe? So the cash might go up and up.

Why risk Mckenna and Worrall when we have Figs and Soh available to play.

It’s hardly worth participating in from a financial point of view.
It is a good opportunity to give the fringe players a game though. I wouldn’t risk any key players.

I miss having a reserve team it used to give players a run out.
