Seriously a chance to beat Man City, at home, on the telly, i love the FA Cup, i mean look at Leeds, score alot concede alot, i like that sort of thing, i don't buy into the avoid a drubbing at all costs philosophy, i think it's pure fallacy, though edging a game or a 1 nil smash and grab also, what's not to like?

By that logic I assume you never want to get promoted then?
If we got promoted im working on the basis that we'd be half decent at least, but honestly speaking, and ive said it on here before, the prospect of getting into the prem just to get beaten every week doesn't get my juices flowing at all. Ask Fulham, West Brom or Sheff Utd fans if they're enjoying watching their teams get thumped every week.
I suppose im just completely turned off by the modern inequalities in football, that's all. Leicester, Wolves, Southampton
No reason if we can somehow start getting things right, that we can compete

Probably worth pointing out that City played most of their first team in round 3, dont think they rotate too much. Despite Pep moaning that he can't use five subs

However I would say it would probably be better to get spanked every week in the prem rather than in the championship like we currently are!
Also, a promotion would sort our finances for a few years so we'd have a much better season the following year (assuming they haven't ditched parachute payments by then)
