Millwall Fans Pre Match Comments.......

After Tuesday’s excellent point on the south coast this game is a completely different challenge. This will be a real test to see if we can keep this momentum going. A win would be a real pointer, a draw would be a little disappointing but a defeat would be a real setback. The Forest team are not packed with Premier league players who can stroke the ball around at will and pick you off. This will be a hard working and solid team and we are going to need a different approach if we are to get all three points. There are many on here who remember our 5 star performance last season and a hat trick from Matt Smith and feel that we just have to turn up and we can do it all again. Well, they have a different manager and many different players so it will not be easy. GR will looking to see if there is anybody not fully recovered from Tuesday game before he picks his team.

One certainty is that the big Pole will wear the gloves. He will have been disappointed to have been beaten at his near post but it was a fierce and quality strike from Solanke that would have beaten a lot of keepers. There is no question that Danny will fill the RB slot. The lad was fearless, full of confidence and deserves his second league start. We always play three at the back and I see no change there. The only question mark is whether Pearce is replaced by Murray who had a slight injury on Tuesday. Will he return or do we stick to the same trio at the back? A tough call. Molly should slot in at LB.

Leonard had an energetic game in midfield and looks certain to keep his place. Will Woods be his partner? The ginger Pirlo had a good game in the middle and did hit a superb ball inside for Jed in the first half. I would be surprised if he did not start. Jed is a given but he will need to play better. In tight situations he often gives the ball away or tries to take on the whole team to get us up the field. He will also need to either get some new shooting boots from Sports Direct or practice his one on ones at Calmont Road. At this level you don’t get a whole host of chances and he needs to take one when it comes along. Big Ken looks the part and should start at the City Ground. The big question Mark hangs over Polly. The lad has skills and talent but doesn’t bring a lot to the game. The big issue is do you keep playing him in the hope that he gets better and maybe even scores a goal. Or do you give his place to Bennett who has aggression and drive on the left and can score when the opportunity presents itself. It’s a tough call.


The tree noncing c*nts seem to have picked up some form recently. Will be a tough game

I would be surprised to see four at the back with Romeo picked over Danny. But what do I know?

This will be a tougher game than Bournemouth who play open attacking football that gives the opposition a chance. Houghton is renowned for setting up defensively and playing on the counter. We need a bit of pace in the side to open them up. Grabben plays for this lot along with that Charlton c*nt, both need ironing out early on.

Two positive results in a row for us, keep the momentum going with some pace and accurate passing from woods. We all know what happened the last time we were at their dump of a ground on that magical Friday night, id be over the moon with anything similar
