Agreed. I don't know why some feel the need to criticise him.
But you said it was ok to criticise players Sniff?

Arter. One of a handful of players that came with reputations but weren't getting 1st play and therefore they were not match fit.
Colback. Luke. Arter. Knocker.
Chris Hughton said that training is not the same as match play.
(Though as Colback and Knocker got more match play they started to get better.)
And their debuts for Forest so far proves this.
Then you pick up a hernia when thrown into Championship action.
We may see better 2nd half of the season from these players.
Interesting remark from Chris on the volume of training. Especially for those that don't play and perhaps for those that didn't play much last season.
Clearly Chris has picked up on the lack of preseason fitness.

My post was a bit tongue-in-cheek but I would like to point out that it is a big difference between ability/talent and performance/form. So when I'm stating that our squad are above average I'm talking about "on paper". I get the feeling that you are talking more in terms of recent performances/form.
Regarding Worrall, it was definitely discussions about his ability as a footballer after his Rangers stay (if that was what you meant with "since he came back"?).

It is ok to criticise players when they are constantly putting in shit performances but like others have said Arter has struggled with injuries and personal problems. I think an arm around the shoulder in Arter's case would be more appropriate in my opinion.

FFS lads. Can everyone just loosen up a bit. I feel like some are jumping on my every word. It's getting a bit tiresome.

What I like about Hughton is his man management.
You can see that with Sow, Yates, Mighten, Grabban, Fig' etc.
