We were clearly not watching the same game Sniff.
Best leave it at that.
So we didn't defend well, win our 50 50's, win our headers, get our blocks in? Like it or not, that is what wins football matches. We did the basics very very well today and we have a nice little unbeaten run going.
I know you are a glass half empty bloke TPL and I'm always a glass half full so we'll leave it there.
Low blow Sniff :D
If you thought we controlled the game - then you have got something extremely strong in your cup.

Not to get between you two, but theres merit in both your views.
We certainly controlled our own box, so clean sheet seemed inevitable, so 1-0 up the game was sort of controlled.
But in terms of possession and use of the ball and midfield battles we were definitely 2nd best and far from in control.
No popcorn required, call it a draw.....

This is way too rational, forum is less fun when we win. Everyone is way too sensible and polite.

Even without the ball we were in control of the game. Cardiff wouldn't have scored if we played all night.

It's years since we've played Cardiff and actually looked comfortable defending set pieces. A Very workmanlike performance. I fear Worrall and McKenna wont play many games for NFFC as a defensive partnership.

I back his stance over the billionaire owned "free press".
Good lad, Lyle. Proud of you.
