I couldn't tell either way, the PNE commentators said someone had slowed it down and could see it. Tough in real time though, I think you give the benefit of doubt to the attacker. I feel like this happened to use fairly recently too. Was it grabban then?

I think today was a bit of an anomaly- especially for Ribeiro. Most days if he gets as many chances to put the ball in as he did today at least a couple create a good chance. Christie not so much, though he can usually put one decent cross in per game. 4 points from 2 difficult away games is a great return. Even though we deserved the win more at Stoke than todat-thats football.

If VAR had been in use for that game it would not have been a penalty in the first place.
The player who fell over and handled the ball was clearly fouled by Grabban; they ran through the incident on Quest. Its about time we had some good luck.

He hits it with his right and it touches his left due to his slip. It’s pretty obvious from the replays, iFollow showed it in slow motion quite a few times.

Nothing wrong with a bit of stick when they have been poor and nothing wrong with a bit of praise when they have done well. I thought they were both very good yesterday as was Figs who has also had plenty of stick recently. Yates also did what he does very very well once again.

Less convinced by the foul, didnt look like much contact however it was clearly a double hit on the slow motion replay. That said tough to give either in real time and about time one of these decisions went our way I guess. Let's take the momentum into the next four winnable games.

it looks like a slight hint of offside in the build up, as in Cafu new himself he was blatantly offside as the move developed on the edge of the box and then nipped onside maybe a second or 2 prior to his involvement?

Let’s think of all the reasons why the goal should’ve been disallowed?!

Goal - grabban
That is what it will say in the history books... About time we had some luck. Countless unlucky incidents in games this season. |
