Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 21's
I get your point Pap and I agree but every other club does it and we need to play the game. Feel more sorry for young lads from Europe tapped up by Chelsea’s vast system and told they will be premier league superstars. Then they spend the next 5 years being loaned out to different L1 clubs, never get a chance to settle and eventually released.

Yep, every club does it, I accept that.

Don’t think we will be able to make these kind of signings in future due to Brexit.

Nope, no overseas under 18 signings allowed (not sure if that's just Europe or the rest of the world too).

The big Clubs will get round it by signing the players for their feeder Clubs in Europe and then transfer them when they get to a certain age

I wonder if Olympiakos could sign the players and then loan him to us until he reaches the correct age.

Not sure what the rules are on loans for under 18s

I went to see the U23s a few weeks back and he looked very good.

Plays in the same position as Johnson, although I do not think a manager would have too much trouble accommodating both

If he can handle the physical side then he will do well.

Definite 1st team material

Great stuff. Credit where it's due to our ambitious owners.

This is further commitment to getting Forest back to the elite echelons.

Here's to the future!

Although having said that, the dropping of the Nigel Doughty Academy won’t go down well with a lot of folk.
