Nottingham Forest - Brentford

We lost our two best players plus grabban and Worrall being injured and tried but failed to replace them. Financially speaking Arter could end up being one of our worst signings under the current ownership. At least Diakhaby was only a loan...

At the moment I think with the mix of CH and our present squad there is more chance of us getting relegated than surviving.

We desperately need two wins from the next three.

No, he's notoriously bad at predictions!

Yep, one of the reasons he fell into IVA was his gambling losses!!!!!

Ah, it’s only Sheff Wed who I believe have won 9 out of 10 of their last visits to The City Ground. Millwall away needs no explanation then its Karanka rocking up. We will almost certainly be bottom by the new year.

Our squad is so lacking in energy its unreal. Yet another crap goal conceded in first half (Thanks Figs again). Then as Steve Sutton rightly said we huffed and puffed without really troubling them other than a (rightly- remember Sheep game?) disallowed goal.

1st half was dreadful.
Knockeart came on and looked like the player we hoped he would be for 20 minutes, then reverted to type and was lucky his red card didnt come earlier after his petulant kick out after he thought he could beat 3 players on his own. At least it meant he hung around long enough to put in a decent cross for Joe's consolation which kept us out of bottom 3.

Yates haters will probably be a bit quiet for now as he was another who drove us forward 2nd half and given licence in a midfield 2 made a number of very good forward passes, including a sublime dink forward that got Taylor in.

Other positives are clutching at straws as looking ok for 40 minutes wont win too many games.

Figs banned means we will likely get to see if Soh is the answer for McKennas stand in (have we signed another biscuit there?).

Samba made two very good saves...but that 3rd goal? The words bottled it spring to mind.

The damage done playing all these "top 6" sides might be alot worse than many imagine. I hope not, but we all know that the difference between top end and bottom end is not a great deal in any given game.

On Tuesday, I just want a clean sheet. At least that gives us a chance and at least a point.

Only other positive? A few more quid will be credited to my account as we didnt have to sit through that sh1te in person. Slim pickings know.

According to Forest Boffin it was Yates job to mark the goalscorer and Figs was given a zonal job.

No he didn’t - he said he was taken off marking to zonal after the first corner

We're miles away from mid table.

Let alone top 6.

I sighed when I saw the team sheet and Yates had replaced Sow. However I thought Yates was good today, plenty played far worse.
It's difficult to look good in a bad team playing poorly.

A lot of pressure now on getting a win against Sheff Wed, but there were signs that there is a good team hiding in Red.

It must be bad if we are talking about Billy returning. It's a big No from me.
