Not like he’s the only player to dive though. There’s definitely more players that dive than those that don’t. I’m not saying it was a detriment to his character but seems unfair to single him out.

I liked your post PromisedLand, personally I can't comment more than there is a lot about BB I like.

Regards his departure I would like to learn the chain of events, my understanding is, he's straining at the leash to play, has a lot of self belief and believes deep down he is better than those in front of him in the pecking order.  If this is the case I do like him and deep regret he has gone.

Also it is a problem a manager needs more of, hungry young players full of testosterone and self belief.

Hopefully learn more about what really happened and hoping he didn't kick the coaching staff in the teeth.

Where had he shown a lack of respect though? In that one social media post straight after he left? Seems a lot to hold against him. He did acknowledge the club in a later post. Plus any comparisons to Worrall are completely irrelevant given he’s still our player

He may well have thanked the club privately before he left, including AK for all we know.

What frustrates me is that he's just a 19 year old lad. If he doesn't have the maturity to realise he needed to acknowledge the fans, club, etc who gave him his chance then his agent should have advised him to do so. He's going to receive a fairly muted response from us when come comes back to play against us now. It could have been a little easier for him if he had made one simple tweet as Worrell did. A good reception may well have boosted his performance against us.

A lot of talk about Brereton on another thread, so this one is back. It seems some people feel bitter towards Ben because he didn't thank the club or the fans when he left. Well, that doesn't make him a poor player. Also is there any evidence of him being arrogant? Or have we just made that up?
