How many ludicrous free kicks did we concede.
Just awful.

Do you think Colback would have hugely impacted the performance and result (and how)?

I like him but he’s limited in what he does.

I dont think he'd have made a huge impact no. I think we'd have been more competitive in midfield though and might've led to more chances

Knockaert looks  our best player by a country mile and hes not even ours.

Felt knockaert improved the team and generally better second half but after the equaliser we did not really seize the initiative.

I still think we'll both be sniffing around the play off spots come May  . Long time to go yet.

Absolutely f***ing pathetic.

What did we do against Rotherham? Stick with a formation that wasn't working against a shite team, then wait over an hour with us behind to change it. I called it Groundhog Day. Well, good morning Punxsutawney.

We try a formation that isn't working, and only when we are behind at half time do we make the change which looks like it was forced by injury. But then that is the only one! Absolutely f***ing staggering that we let Derby make subs and take the initiative, while we leave Freeman & Mighten on the bench.

On this match alone it was a mind boggling decision. But in this season, in the 3rd match in a week, of 7 matches in 22 days? WTF is the manager thinking?!

Get used to it. Hughton doesnt make loads of substitutions and when he does they are often late on.

It is a long way to go and we have at least stopped the rot which was critical. Look back at last season and you see Brentford had a slow start to the campaign and began picking up after 8-9 matches.

This team has not played much together and it is a danger when you bring in as many players as we have.

But I'm not getting over excited.

Well that will be a problem if he does that this season. Physiology tells you that, no matter how good the best 11 are. Only today from the athletic:

"There have been 78 muscle injuries already for Premier League players this season, a 42 per cent increase from this stage in the previous campaign, reports Ali Humayun. The Athletic can reveal the number of muscle injuries suffered in the first five weeks of the season has skyrocketed this year, after a drastically reduced pre-season period and busier fixture schedule because of the impact of COVID-19."

"This includes injuries such as muscle pulls, tweaks, tightness, strains and similar issues but does not cover player absences associated with fatigue or direct impact.

At the same stage in the 2018-19 season, there were 55 reported muscle injuries, 34 in 2017-18 and 47 in 2016-17.

This makes for a 42 per cent increase in muscle injuries compared to last season, while there are more than double the number of muscle injuries at this stage than in 2017-18."

Hopefully that will forever put to bed talk of playing 4-4-2.
