Note with Adomah helping them to get there.

I get sending him on loan if we had signed a stunning replacement in January. We Swapped him for Diakhaby who has contributed sod all. And loaning an established player to a promotion rival makes no sense.

Tbf Cardiff weren't a promotion rival at the time!
I can actually see Albert getting his 3rd promotion in the last few years knowing our luck. I'd call him back next week and add him to squad. Good player, in form, played every game for Cardiff, better wide option than any of our others sat on bench since he went....can give Sami a breather for last half hour of games.

Also Mitrovic was lucky the ref missed an elbow vs Leeds. May be retrospective action which would also rule him out of the Forest game

That's handy. Lawrence butted the guy so I don't see how that gets rescinded, and Mitrovic went in late after the ball had gone leading with his forearm/elbow, I don't see how he can't get done for it.

I don't as apparently we're refusing to extend the loan deal now as Cardiff are in contention  :D

Agreed, seen Mitrovic one now so assuming ref didn't see it, he will get a 3 game ban

I think he is still our joint third goalscorer for the season behind Lolley and Grabban?

Now that I know he wouldn't be able to play for us, I retract that statement.

Why wouldnt he be able to play for us? He can't play for Cardiff after tomorrow, which means he is a Forest player

Dunno. Albert said that he isnt allowed to play if he returns to Forest. Also said he never wanted to leave Forest in 1st place.

On another note, had a little look on Cardiff forum expecting  vitriol aimed our way, but they are actually very circumspect comments like, we would want our club to do the same in their situation. Also saying they will miss him alot. "Made the position his own".

Really surprised as their fans in reL life visits to WFCG were fairly horrible.

Them's the rules. If all 3 parties agree to an extension they can continue to play for the club they're on loan at, but if they return they can't play for the parent club again this season.
