"We are at the beginning of the Championship. I know where I am and I know why I am here. I just signed for one year and I do not want or need more.

“I just want, until the last day, to give my all; to give my best for my players and my club. The people here have given me their trust. I will give them back what I can — which is everything.

“I am here for the football, for the passion, for the emotion — to share this. I am a lucky man because I played football for a living and now I am a manager — and I am a manager in the right place, I think."

Like this guy cant put my finger on it but he seems to be a greater leader/coach.  I think the reality is we won`t be any near good for a while yet but he is under no illusions.
Just read the full interview, it’s a good read.

Really hope Sabri is the man to end 20 years of hurt

I hope he at least does well enough to earn a longer contract - whether that's due to getting us promoted or at least getting close enough to make Marinakis think he's worth another shot.

I reckon it will take 10 games or so until we’re flowing.

It is starting to feel like we finally have a 'proper' manager. I couldn't imagine a few months ago that Ben Watson would be playing out of his skin and that Matty Cash would be excelling at right back. Surely we have to give credit to the manager for that.

I was very happy for him yesterday when I saw him celebrating the goals. Let's get that win against Charlton

The early signs are good. The team looks organised and players knowing their roles. He has also made substitutions which have had a positive effect upon the game.

Has displayed more nouse & decisiveness than any other manager in years.

Early days yet, but he hasn't put a foot wrong IMO. He's the manager Karanka should have been.

Here's hoping the top brass back him with time & the few quality signings he'll need when needed.

Ridiculous comment, we have played three, won one, drawn one, lost one.

Positive signs? Definitely.

Nothing more, nothing less at this stage.

You went on another thread stating something to the effect of “Drop Muric FFS”.

We win - we’re getting promoted.
We lose - the squad is too big, we need another striker, the manager is on borrowed time.

I kept preaching it last season TPL and I will continue to preach it this season...

We are only as good as our last game.

We shouldn't get too excited when we win and we shouldn't get too down when we lose.

I am sure Lamouchi tells the players the same thing.

We win together, we lose together.
