I can’t see why he would appeal his sacking if that were the case as it would become public knowledge and Derby would cite it to support their stance.

This Murphy news has got me thinking about Bridcutt, Pantilimon and Yacob.

Probably no connection but it would explain why they have disappeared (I know Bridcutt is now at Bolton...with Murphy).

I can’t see why he would appeal his sacking if that were the case as it would become public knowledge and Derby would cite it to support their stance.

A legal friend of mine reckons he has very good grounds of winning an appeal because he has not been treated in the same manner as two players who were found guilty in court.

The problem he has is that there was little time remaining on his contract so the amount he would win would not be particularly large.

Derby will know this and end up settling out of court.
