Madness to spend 13.2m (mmmmm) on Carvalho

Carvalho being 21, those two being over the hill.

Look I know I’m angry but the realistic target has been reached. If they want promotion back a manager with what he needs not what you think he needs. Those 2 would have been ideal and yes the deals were ‘agreed’ and from what I’ve seen from going home and away just what we needed. Seasoned championship performers who have shat it takes to get promoted.

I still think Carvalho has done quite well this season , he carries a hefty price tag and it's a lot to live up to and in some games he can disappear however i have a feeling that next season , a year older, stronger ,wiser and totally settled in he can really flourish for us.
He can still be worth the fee we paid in my opinion.

He will be moved on by next year. No way we paid that much and for the sake of his career he needs to go. He’d suit Greece!

I apologise if you think I’ve been aggressive or rude NG3. I just disagree with your comments and the narrative that Karanaka has been the villain in all this.

If you buy potential it's always over priced as you're paying for what's to come. On present evidence he is significantly over priced, but if he continues to improve & realises that potential he may yet become a bargain.

If we r Chelsea maybe but not for us. We cannot afford to risk tgat sort of money on 'potential' , that is the crux of the Carvalio saga. When u consider our turn iver nd how much disposable income we have, we cannot affird to gamble that sort if money. It is like someone going at tge bookies nd gambles 75% of his 2 grand a month salary (1,500). Someone that earns 20 grand a month might afford to gamble 1,500 one off bet but not the former ...when he has a 600 a month mortgage to pay...? ....hope ....the comparisons are clear...for 12 million Forest need the real thing ...two Grabbans for example...nd not one Carvalio...
