They travellerd with the team . I saw Modesto coming off the team bus

I found it bizarre too. They’ve even had a box made for them. He arrives in suit. He should not be next to the pitch full stop. No wonder Keane left. I have a deep mistrust of our DOF and think he was the problem for karanka and O’Neill and is the one at the club feeding the press. What is actually his track record? What type of ego does he have to be pitchside?

I don't wish to open a can of worms here but there is no way that Karanka, MON and Keane would put up with Dourekas and Modesto's involvement.

All I can say about Dourekas is that he was adored at Olympiakos and he had a great reputation for being the 'go to guy' for the players should they need help with something or if they had any problems etc etc.

But Olympiakos is Olympiakos and Forest is Forest. Things are done differently in England to what they are in Greece.

Exactly sniffer - I sit right next to them so it won’t be the manager getting stick this time around...
38 first team players and struggling for a balanced team - rediculous

The involvement of Modesto and Dourekas does seem a bit over the top.

I can very easily see why the likes of Karanka and MON could see it as interference. Lamouchi is probably ok with it for now but for how long is anybody's guess.

I've subscribed to The Athletic (who Paul Taylor is working for now). Be interested to see what his Forest content is like going forward.

Is it just a coincidence that since Dourekas and Modesto arrived last January things appear to have took a turn for the worse?

Or is there really some substance behind it?

I`ve signed up to this also - happy with content so far and the article on agents/transfers is a real eye opener and well worth a read.

Nottingham Forest would like to issue the following statement in relation to the horrific abuse aimed at Derby County's Duane Holmes on social media.

"The club are aware of some racist social media messages which have been posted by an individual who claims to be a supporter and denounces the conduct of the individual responsible in the strongest possible terms.

"As soon as the club was made aware of the offending posts the matter was referred to the police as they appear to meet the threshold of criminal conduct. The club will continue to co-operate with the police who are pursuing their enquiries.

"Whilst these enquiries are ongoing the club has suspended the ability of the individual concerned from attending matches. In addition to this the club would like it to be known that it will take robust steps and sanction any individual who seeks to assist the individual concerned from attending matches in breach of the club’s suspension.

"The club will take further action against the individual when the outcome of the police enquiries and the criminal process is known."

Hopefully back after international break?
Would give him 5 weeks to get up to speed ( missing 5 more league games ).

Duane Holmes is a good player, but a sheep. Glad the club have acted quickly and decisively though regarding the moron from our fan base. This sort of crap should have stopped years ago.
