How much is Jock charging Taylor for the exclusives?

Well it’s true! The trouble for decent journalists is they are hamstrung by the papers demands. Most want to write insightful opinion pieces but never get the opportunity. This is very popular internationally and there is a market for it. However, I did also think £8 is a bit pricey- but you get access to everything so think 442 subscription then it may have legs.

Really don’t see why everyone gives the guy so much grief. He obviously has guidelines he has to work to or risk jeopardising the Post’s relationship with the club. It’ll be interesting to see if his writing changes when he’s working for the new platform.

The City Ground is hosting a launch event for all 72 EFL clubs ahead of the new season. It might be wishful thinking on my part but I think it's good that we host things like this, might mean that the EFL look at us in a better light.

It certainly can't do us any harm.

Our image/reputation following the Fawaz disaster is slowly being restored I think.

Has anyone else seen the new rule changes to be implemented by the league from tomorrow?

Some slightly odd minor changes but the handball one sounds fine to me, probably about right. Should hypothetically cut down on handballs when someone just kicks it at them hopefully.

The subs one is a good one, hope refs are strict on that one. Time wasting is just annoying

I should hope they were both around. They’ve got a lot of work to do before 17:00 on Thursday.

Modesto appears to have more involvement than just being a scout doesn't he?

In all my years of watching football I can't ever remember a scout being on the pitch with the players during a warm up and a DOF sitting on the bench.

I take SR's point onboard but they weren't just 'around' they were right in the thick of it.
