Id prefer 42 points, just to be on the safe side.

Me too but surely we can’t lose 4 on the spin now? Im still not comfortable. Spurs to lose tomorrow would be fantastic though.

Yeah if Spurs don't win I might very slightly relax.

West Ham are the ones who will go down now.

Get one more win then I think 100% safe.

If spurs drop any points tomorrow then I just don't see them catching us. I still expect them to beat wolves but spurs haven't won for months and wolves have taken a few unexpected scalps at home. If wolves get an early goal then confidence could collapse.

I really want spurs to go down.

Not sure about that yet. Both spurs and west ham play twice before our next league game. If results go against us and they win these games we will be right back in it when we play Chelsea. Do I think this will happen - no. Is it possible - yes. The irony could be that our own result against villa next Thursday could play apart in influencing villa's team selection for their trip to spurs. If we win at the city ground, villa might be more inclined to put out a weakened side against spurs. Meanwhile west ham have a couple of tricky games but neither is impossible to win.

If we still have a five point cushion when we play Chelsea then I might be more inclined to say it should be done but I think this season might be one of those rare 40 point plus seasons. I'm not saying we are going down but I would not want to jinx it by believing we've done enough

Just done that score predictor thing again, still think 42 is the magic number that has us definitely safe so 3 to go.
May be that we are already OK but want to get that last win and relax.
At least we go into Villa game full of confidence.

I think the next two Spurs/West Ham games are so important because if they go badly we can get away with rotating vs Chelsea and fully focus on Villa.

Also, though, I know most of us still feel like we're in it but right now we are the form team in the league. We have the form player in MGW, and our star striker is back and firing. Not to mention we seem to have found a tactic that works right now. Think I saw that MGW has scored 3 more goals than anyone else since start of March (Igor 3 goals, 3 assists was 3rd in that table!).

It was pretty funny how nervous we all felt at 4-0 at HT lol. Come on Wolves!
