Jeez that must have been a long and detailed strategy meeting.
“Right then, last year we signed a load of Portuguese kids and we finished 7th. So our cunning plan is to this year buy mainly British players, if they are over 30 then so much the better. All in agreement? Great!”

I imagine the players who one poster said would throw a party to celebrate if Vrentzos left.

Let me just get something off my chest here because I think some people are misunderstanding my stance on this and having little digs at me.
I have no alliance to Vrentzos whatsoever. I don't come on here to defend him.
It's the damage on our football club that I am concerned about not any individual. All these allegations and all the dogs abuse on social media is doing our club no good at all and it will all end in tears if it continues. What will happen then remains to be seen but if EM decides to sell up then I really do fear for our future although that would to a certain extent depend on who he sold us to.

The 'campaign' on Twatter is a joke. It's been started by some prick who actually lives in Canada, so has no close connections to the club. It is based on what he has read online (from what I can make out), with one or two mentions of happenings but nothing specific, so I call that out as bullshit.
There are certain things that need to be addressed by Em, Ventzos or whoever, like the transfer strategy for example, the appalling communication with fans etc. These are things that have been openly debated on this forum by well reasoned, mature posters. There has been no personal abuse or name calling at all. These are things the top brass can do something about and will get praise for.
Doing nothing though will only increase the abuse from these keyboard warriors, hurling the abuse at the top brass. A lot of the Twatter followers are young, impressionable dickheads, wanting to be seen to be 'hard' and wanting to stand up to the establishment. The trouble is though, that these dickheads will only encourage even more dickheads to join their 'campaign', which will then become louder and appear stronger supported than it actually is!

Forest fans have driven out owners before.
As for who would buy the club... Forest are the most second division club in the country. We’ve been in the Championship longer than any other club, our income is (lower) average, even the jewel in the crown the academy is second rate, category 2. The stadium is old and run down with one stand being hardly fit for purpose, and there is little scope for increasing revenue unlike other local clubs with newer stadiums like Leicester and Derby. Derby were sold recently so we could expect similar owners here, although they do have better training and academy facilities, a cat 1 academy, and importantly, a stadium which isn’t limited to match day revenue.
