Looking at the video just posted it seems that Thomas Lam is training with the main group. Wonder if Karanka wants a look at him before deciding whether to keep or get rid.

He was never strong enough for centre-half but he could play a bit. Scored a couple of good goals. Potential as a deep-lying midfielder possibly?

Right back I think would be his best position as he likes to get forward.
