Forest looked good V Brum...could of easily won 5/6-0.  Maybe it was because Brum were S**t but judging by the highlights I think we are in for a very tough game...2-2.

Vaguely remember in 1998 we were top after two games and went to Forest midweek.
Our bubble was well and truly burst by a four nil defeat.
It was down hill from there and we were relegated.

So on that and Forest's ability to score goals our first defeat in the league this season beckons.
0 - 2.

Comfortable home win 4-0.

I'm going for a 0-2 win to Forest to bring us back down to earth.

My first game of the season, so we are bound to lose!
0-2.

Can't see Forrest sitting back and reckon it will be an open game. They demolished Brum on Saturday and missed so many chances. Be amazed if we stop them scoring. Another good point would suite me.

Difficult to call this one, a win would mean we are in an even better place than I expected, a draw would still be excellent for our new team.

Expecting a narrow 1-2 defeat or a 2-2 draw.

I think Forest will be Grabban the points from this one unfortunately - 1-2.

A few more Charlton comments prematch.

Living in Nottingham I can tell you for a fact that a large part of their fans are full of it, most reckon they will win. Would love to go in work on Thursday morning with a smug smile and walk past at least 20 odd miserable Forest fans.

I predict Forest will have moments when they knock the ball around nicely and look very dangerous, causing a bit of an uneasy feeling, but ultimately the boys will make the key moments tell.

I am feeling confident about this one. They have some good players who we are aware of. We have some better players they will be less aware of. 2-0 first clean sheet.

Really looking forward to this, will be a decent test against a club who will finish between 8th and 14th. No reason why we can’t go and play on the front foot and take the game to them.

If we can stop Joe Lolley, I don't think we'll lose.

Laughing to myself at the thought of a "your just a council estate in Derby" chant!

It's not a funny chant and it doesn't even fit into the timing of the tune properly. Poor work. Hope their team is as bad.

Just seen this from a Charlton Fan to Alan Nixon...
"I see what you’re saying and I’m not saying we’re definitely not gonna lose. Could easily go either way. But just the first 4 games now I’ve hardly seen 1 prediction saying a Charlton win who’s not a Charlton fan... considering our start I’m just a bit surprised by that"

Nixon's reply...
Promoted teams often start well. Used to winning. But there’s always a game a few weeks in when a team with a bit more are just too good.

Some post match comments from the Charlton fans:

Really should of killed that off 1st half, but what a start 8 points and we’re annoyed at not beating forest - who look awful.

Gutted, should have put them to the sword, but would've taken a point before kick off so hard to feel too disappointed.

What a disappointing result after the way we’d played first half. I can’t remember a more dominant display.

Imagine being disappointed with a draw at home to Forest after playing them off the park for an hour. Crazy how far we've come.

Most dominant first half I can remember.

Should have put them to bed and showed naivety in making subs on a corner.

Battered them first half and should've been 2 or 3 up. Second half we couldn't maintain it and inevitably Forest scored.

The 1st half was the best performance i've seen from us in probably 7 or 8 years. So unlucky not to grab a 2nd.

Forest always felt a threat though, so a draw was in the end not a surprise. Expect them to be up there at the end of the season. The subs they brought on were particularly strong and had an impact.

The timing of the two substitutions they made was baffling.

Pratley came on to mark Adomah and they paid for it.

''The 1st half was the best performance i've seen from us in probably 7 or 8 years''.

Charlton were good first half but hey were not that good surely? Or Charlton fans have been watching some serious crap over the last 7 or 8 years.
