Something Jock mentioned today made me bring back this thread.
There seems to be a huge difference in our success rate in our North European signings compared with our South European signings.

Bohinen, Van Hooijdonk, Roy, Van Breukelen, Aas, Metgod, Majeski, Louis Jean, Haaland. Good signings from South Europe over the years ?

Neither Porfirio or Pinilos can be talked about in the same breath as our top North European Players.
