Let’s hope so. Quite liked the sound of him and would give us another option

It's not being reported anywhere else in Greece, not yet anyway.

Interesting to see how this pans out...

After seeing Grabban so far I'd definitely like another option!

I think you may be right. International clearance needed - work permit etc. Shouldn’t be a problem as he has the required number of caps but they obviously they may want it all clear before any announcement.

I suppose we will find out at the end of the match today, Chippers will no doubt be asking Karanka what the situation is.

Local media input yesterday was quite poor I felt.

It was almost as if they weren't really prepared for 'transfer deadline 2'. We had a flurry of tweets and stuff in the morning from them and then nothing until gone 5.

There was very little inside info. We got more info on here from trusted posters. Actually, congrats to those people on here yesterday. Smashed it, especially as it looks like this Iranian striker did actually sign after all.

Our players they said that other clubs were showing strong interest in was smith and Henderson. Guess what both still here. Lol

Think to be fair they were told it be a busy day but it wasn’t in end and what else could they report if nothing was happening?

Looking at where that tweet came from I'm dubious. It's only got about 300 followers, which doesn't seem much for a reputable news outlet.

The article in Sportime was written by Gerasimos Minolidis.

He is very well respected here in Greece to be fair he has been bang on with stuff in the past.

Don't want to get everyone's hopes up though, the fat lady is not singing yet.
