Great to hear. I dont know much about Anel, is he a similar type of player to Yates? They are both DCMs if I am correct?

Ahmedhodzic can play DM but played 90' at centre half against Malaga where he looked very composed and played well. I think this is his best position.

I am hoping AK is brave and chucks Yates in to the first team squad with Watson Geddy and Bridcutt for company he has plenty of help around him

I think he has done enough on the loan circuit and excelling in a play off finalists team in L1 what more can he do, he took a gamble moving away from County had he not County would have been top 3 but he took that challenge and delivered one league up

He should be rewarded and allowed the chance to step up again

I would like to see that, but not yet.
It is important that the team is firing on all cylinders before a rookie is introduced.]
It is easier for the team and the player.
How many have slaughtered Brereton, because too much was asked of him too early?

Yates will be a main stay of this squad for a good few years. Lets not ruin him

Agree with that - another 12 months ( on loan in the Championship ) would be perfect.
Ideally with an option to recall in January.

Yeah, very important to have a recall if Ryan goes out on loan, also if he goes then I hope it's to a lower Championship club.

Yates certainly giving Karanka food for thought.

I think we should keep him here. He looks like he's ready to play some part for us.

Based on reports only as I haven’t seen him in person he sounds better than our current options. Rather him than Watson.

He certainly looked good last night. A few poor touches but the physicality to protect the ball or win it back. A little slow but great positionally. Made a big difference when he went off and his play enabled Gueds to do well too- Gueds was noticeably poorer after yates went off. Noticed him organising a wall and bossing other pros- definite leader. Smith was quite vocal too
