They're playing pretty different positions aren't they?

Jones and MGW? Here are there heat maps for the prem this season 



The point was made that jones isn’t playing as much as MGW so why pick him.

Interesting they end up occupying a similar part of the pitch, despite having different roles/systems. 

Fwiw I do agree MGW should be in above Jones and Eze. However, I can understand the logic of selecting Jones, it's a shame as it does feel like a deeper role in the England team is very up for grabs atm.

Curtis Jones is decent tbf, don't see why being compared to MGW when play different positions. Gallagher another who will be upset as centre midfielder.

At least Anderson is part of the u21’s

As I alluded to earlier CHO has been better then rashford in the same position all season and should be there

Has he been that much better than Rashford? 5 goals, 3 assists, Rashford 4 goals 3 assists and was excluded for a month or so. 

Do you think CHO is a better player than Rashford? Whose more likely to play and contribute in a world cup campaign?

Anderson is a very different debate IMO as there is little competition for his position and the only thing working against him is experience. I could see him breaking in next year after a few dominant CL performances...
