Random one but remember when Middlesbrough fans kept telling us that Isaiah Jones was better than Djed Spence? Spence is getting game time for Spurs now. Jones is moving to..... Luton.

Really good long read about us in The Times today. No paywall.

Probably the most enjoyable read about us I have seen, really good, go and have a look if you haven’t already.

I like this bit

“Quirky? Perhaps. But department heads who previously worked at other Premier League clubs appreciate how, to get something done, there are no layers of procedure: you just call and get yes or no from the boss.”

Think we know EM doesn’t go by the accepted rule book but sometimes (not always) thats good, particularly when we know the PL isn’t an equal playing field, its the only way to compete. That kid of sums up this season.

With Tuesdays showdown looming, I guess the football world is bound to take a closer look at us.

I prefer the "Forest are just a defensive team who are going to come unstuck playing that way, no possession and parking the bus can only work for so long" rhetoric.

Teams may not underestimate us anymore sadly.

I love that we have become the antithesis of modern football.

- Old school ground and atmosphere.
- Not fannying about with 300 pointless passes
- Not bending over for Sky 6.

PLEASE let us make it 8 straight wins. Keep the dream going, with our exciting brand of "attacking" purposeful football.

From the more informed commentary I've seen on TV most pundits are pretty respectful about the way we play and find the rapid and effective counterattacks to be exciting.

Great article. Plus they are correct, the Archie Gemmill goal bares an amazing similarity to the team of today!

Wow!! 63 years ago. Now that would be another memorable milestone under Nuno, if we do beat them on Tuesday.
