And a few pundits now putting two and two together in that he's won a junior world cup, he's lifted a Swansea side to two play-offs and has now taken the team at the bottom of the Championship and turned them into promotion candidates in the space of 4 months.
He's getting noticed now and we're really really going to struggle to keep hold of the guy in the next year.
We'll have him next season but beyond that if we don't get up he will be gone for sure but you'd like to think this new backroom team we have would have the right man to pick up the baton and carry on where Coops left off.

Not many teams could tempt Cooper away from us he actually loves his job and the club.
The ones that could take him away wouldn't want him.

You'd hope so Sniff, but he showed at Swansea he wont take any shit. He saw the writing was on the wall there and that they were about to go through a transition stage and wanted nothing to do with it. If, for whatever reason, we cant match the guy's ambition he might be tempted away.
But he does seem to be taken aback by our club. Lets just hope we look after him and give him exactly what he wants.

100% agree, many teams would not take him as he's British and they want a "continental name"

He had no hesitation what so ever in joining us when we were bottom of the league. He could have waited for other offers but he didn't. He knows what the club means and he knows where the club is going and what it is capable of achieving. He wants to be part of that and I don't blame him.

What he has done (and Dane) has made us such an attractive place to come whatever happens this season. If you’re a young player looking for a chance to get established and back yourself there is no better place to be. I can see us being a big draw to talented 18-24 age bracket next season. I think other managers would also trust cooper with elite talent too.

Dane Murphys first appointment in his new job has been an outstanding one. Talk about getting it right. Cooper is just magic and I'm loving every second of it.

I said from the beginning when his name first mentioned, that we needed to bring him here, I also said that he likes to play football the right way and from what I have seen of him already and what he has done for this club he definitely was the right choice.
He has instilled a belief in the player's and has changed the way we play, the player's believe in him, and they all look happy to be here.

I saw a pod cast thing the other day with Darren Fletcher on it. He expressed the (unpopular) opinion that the decisions of the club/managers before Cooper and Murphy came is a significant factor in the club's current resurgence. He was extremely complimentary of the way the academy works. Apparently his lad is in there. Very complimentary about Cooper too. It's well worth a watch if you have a spare hour.
